This is the third year in a row I have been lucky enough to take team pictures for this amazing team of sweet girls. I can honestly say it's one of my favorite shoots each year!! They are so boisterous and fun! They crack me up! I wish I could bottle their energy!!!
Floral Fashion
Totally loving this outfit for a Senior Session! Check out the stores below to find each piece of clothing. I know I say this CONSTANTLY but ACCESSORIZE! Can't you just see here how the accessories MAKE the outfit? You don't even have to wear the glasses. You could play with them or bite on the edge of them or just hold them! A lot of these items are on the pricier side but it's so easy to just snag the look without breaking the bank!
Floral Blouse: New Look
Necklace: 1st Dibs
Ring: Kelly Wearstler
Earrings: Annette Ferdinansend (you're going to want to find a knock off for these ones! YIKES!)
Glasses: My Theresa
Shorts: Mango Red Demin Shorts
Chucks: (I love me a good pair of AllStars! They go with EVERYTHING!)
Belt: Maison Boinet (I have a massive crush on this belt!)
Jean Jacket: Scotch and Soda
Sarah
This sweet girl is a rock star. She was one of my Senior Spokesmodels for the Class of 2014. She worked so hard for me that she earned herself a free shoot! I'm thankful for all she did to help me grown my business and I'm SOOO excited for her to move onto new adventures! But, truth be told, I'm really going to miss her!

Make Up Night!
A few weeks ago I had a make up night at my house! I had my super awesome make up artist come and teach high school girls how to apply make up. They got to practice on a friend and follow along as Tabetha did one of the girls' make up. The girls seemed to have a lot of fun… and so did I! They went home with a beautiful, sparkly eyeshadow attached to one of my business cards… hint hint! ;) I think this needs to be an annual party!
Preslee Pie
This little girl, our little caboose, has got THE most contagious personality. She is so funny (on purpose!), silly, smart, a dancing-queen, a singing-princess, smart-alecky, compassionate, and such a great sister and our baby girl! I just want to freeze her!! I have to breathe into a brown paper bag every time I think about her leaving me for the big, bad world of kindergarten next year!! (Insert me doing the ugly cry <here>.) This child holds my heart. P.S. Her last day of preschool is taking place as we speak! :(
The End of the Road
There are not words to express my love and admiration for this little man. He is courageous, sweet, brave, smart, silly, funny, and an amazing brother and son. Not a day goes by that Bryan and I don't thank our Father in Heaven for allowing this sweet boy to continue living here on earth with us. We would be lost without him. This Friday will mark the last day of his long, LONG, LOOOOONG fight against Leukemia. I remember blogging about this every step of the way when he first got sick. I would use my blog as a form of therapy. I could get stuff off my chest. I remember blogging that he would nearly be 9 when he would be done with his treatment. And now here we are… he's almost done with his treatment… almost done with cancer… almost done with third grade… and almost 9. Carter, you have touched so many lives throughout the last 3 years, two months, and 5 days. It has been a rewarding journey in so many ways but one I pray you will never have to relive.
Wear It Wednesday {Colorado Springs Senior Photographer}
I have decided that I love assembling outfits. It's fun! It's like shopping but without spending money! And you look cute in everything! ;) I have thrown together a few outfits to serve as inspiration for you when you are trying to plan what to wear to your Senior Portrait Session with me!
Floral blouse: New Look
Necklace: 1st Dibs
Ring: Kelly Wearstler
Earrings: A wee bit pricey but you could easily find knock offs!
Glasses: My Theresa (again, find yourself some knock offs!!)
Shorts: John Lewis
Shoes: Converse (I love my Chucks!)
Bracelets: These ones are super affordable!
Belt: I'm in love with this! It's from Far Fetch but I've seen ones like this at Target and Forever for much cheaper.
Jean Jacket: Scotch and Soda
I hope this has encouraged you to think outside the box which is your closet and to be cute, funky, and creative for your shoot!
Snow Pictures! {Colorado Springs Children Photographer}
I have been wanting to do snow pictures of my kids in the snow forever! (That may be a slight exaggeration…) Of course you want the weather to be perfect: Lots of snow, sun, and a current snow shower. We headed up to Pikes Peak and played in the snow. Addilyn was a trooper and let me snap away at her little toothless smile.
Wear It Wednesday {Colorado Springs Senior Photographer}
I found some REALLY cute pieces while I was hunting around the internet the last few weeks. Some I found on Pinterest and, unfortunately, the person who initially pinned it didn't include the correct link so I'm not sure where to find that specific piece! But, hopefully you can at least try to mimic the look.
Chic Critique Magazine Cheerleader Feature! {Colorado Springs Senior Photographer}
I'm SUPER excited to have been featured in Chic Critique Forum's magazine! It's so cool to see MY images printed in a real life magazine!!! Makes me feel like a grown up. ;) Because this is so fun for me I am offering a GIVE AWAY! I will be offering a FREE digital copy of the magazine to one lucky person! In order to qualify, you must be a fan of Jennifer Wyeth Photography on Facebook as well as follow me on Twitter. For an extra entry, follow me on Google+ as well!! (So a total of TWO entries for that!!) Once that's done, you also need to become a fan of Chic Critique on Facebook as well as subscribe to their newsletter. (This is your THIRD entry!)
Please leave a comment for each "entry". So, if you did each of the things above be sure to leave THREE comments! One comment should include your email address so I can email you if you win. I will pick a lucky winner on April 1st!! YAY!
Here's the awesome feature!
True Love {Colorado Springs and Denver Photographer}
These two are two of the most amazing people in the world. They are parents to these two tough little guys, this sweetheart, and the cutest little red headed baby boy around! Needless to say, Natalie is one busy mama!! We couldn't ask for better family to live an hour away from! (That's close for us!!) Love you guys!
Wear it Wednesdays! {Colorado Springs Senior Photographer}
I have decided that I need to start posting outfit options for my seniors. They always end up looking SOOO darling but I know it's a stressful process; especially since they wear between 3 and 5 outfits. (Although this year I will be aiming for at least 4!) So, every now and then I will be posting some cute outfit options I find on line… none of these images are mine. I also mention where I find everything along with the link to that store's website. Enjoy! (and please excuse the pixelation… It's just the size that they website posts the image on their end…)
Top O' the Mornin' to Ya! {Colorado Springs Children Photographer}
This little leprechaun is the cutest little red head around. I posted about his two brothers and his sister over the past few weeks. We are all curious as to whether or not he will keep his red hair. All of his siblings are blond so who knows!
Little Sister {Colorado Springs Children Photographer}
I will say that I love all of my nieces and nephews equally… that being said… *sigh"… I've got a crush on this one! This little girl… oh boy. She is going to be a little heart breaker. Lucky for her, (at least I think…) she's got three brothers to make sure the boys stay away. AND, she's got THE cutest voice EVA! I just wanna eat her up!!
Brothers! {Colorado Springs Children Photographer}
We don't really live by any family. We have Bryan's sister and her family that live about an hour away. We don't see nearly enough of them but when we DO see them we live it up. And I absolutely LOVE getting to take pictures of the kiddos. These are the two oldest. Their REALLY close in age. Which one do you think is older?
Alex & Sydney {Colorado Springs Engagement Photographer}
This couple is just so darling. They are high school sweet hearts and have survived college (in different states for a lot of it!) and post grad. I'm so happy for them that they have found each other! And he's getting one amazing sister-in-law!
Jaden {Colorado Springs Children Photographer}
Gabby {Colorado Springs Children Photographer}
I loved photographing this girl. She was so sweet and willing to do anything I asked her to. She reminds me a lot of her beautiful older sister!
Chelsea {Colorado Springs Senior Photographer}
Working with Chelsea was such a treat. She models and has a part time job all while going to high school. The weather was… less than ideal but she rolled with it! It was actually a lot of fun. We made it into a little game… try to get a decent shop in between the gusts of 50mph winds. It was seriously insane. I haven't ever shot in that kind of wind before… and hopefully I won't make a habit of it. :) Thanks, Chelsea! It was a pleasure!!
