At Maren's shoot we had awesome weather. The light was beautiful. There was no rain (which was a struggle ALL season!). But the mosquitos.... oh the mosquitos! They were out by the thousands and they thought we were all so tasty! We actually had to leave part of the location to avoid being completely devoured. I may or may not have had to edit out a few bugs.
Jake
Jake was really fun to take pictures of! We had his own location in mind. (LOVE that!) It was a location that I couldn't have gotten my hands on without him which made it even better! He recently completed his training to be a pilot and totally nailed his test! Congratulations, Jake! And thanks for taking us to Peak Aviation! They were MORE than accommodating! (And now my girls think they can fly a plane thanks to our location hunting pre-shoot!)
Miss Amanda
This girl was a trooper! We were suppose to have manageable weather... I mean, not stellar, but not raining on us. That worked for about the first 2/3 of the shoot.... then...? Well, then is POURED on us. We got all of her outfits in and even headed over to a soccer field for some soccer pictures. Overall it was a complete success! I love it when clients just go with it! I love it even more when the weather cooperates with us, though! ;)
Rebecca {Oregon Stunning Senior}
I've known Rebecca for the last 5 years. When I met her she was in middle school... with braces... and she was beautiful even then. Last summer her family moved to Salem, Oregon. I was really bummed to lose good neighbors AND a good babysitter. I was absolutely thrilled (and beyond flattered) when her mom contacted me wanting to fly in to do her senior pictures. THANK HEAVENS we had good weather for her shoot! You never know with this crazy summer we've been having!!
Rachel
Rachel makes me think of what my Addilyn will look like when she's all grown up. Stunning with dark curls, light skin, and very very VERY blue eyes. I couldn't get over her eyes. Honest planet: I didn't touch her eyes. They really are THAT blue. Gorgeous, right? We were worried about rain at her shoot (because this summer is the "Summer from Seattle" in my books... rain nearly daily) but the weather held out and the pictures turned out just beautiful.

Meet Kate
Kate is so darling and laid back. I met her through one of my other sweet seniors, Abigail. They've been best friends for years. Kate's shoot started out rough with lots of rain. We sat in the car and got to know each other while we waited out the rain, decided to head to a location about 5 minutes away, and found clearer skies there. Her pictures turned out completely beautiful and I'm thankful she stuck it out and was flexible with the location. Make up: Sephora
Hannah and Jon
These two... we had to reschedule their shoot twice because of weather and then on the day of the shoot we had a bit of a make-up mishap. It was quite the ordeal getting their pictures taken. Good thing they have a few years before they get married! :) They have been together for five years, since they were sophomores in high school. They have the cutest love story! Thank you so much for choosing me for your engagement pictures!
Abigail
This girl. Oh goodness! I just love her to pieces. She's sweet, funny, and goofy. Right up my alley. I have taken pictures of not only her before but also of her mama! Her mom was my kids' kindergarten teacher and she babysits for me on a regular basis. I love photographing people who are so comfortable with me. I get the best smiles out of them!
Bubbly Katie
Katie is about to start her senior year in college. She is really into theater and singing. She’s heading to be a star on Broadway after she graduates from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. I met her through her beautiful cousin who I was lucky enough to take pictures of last year. I truly enjoyed working with this awesome girl. Hair: Sara Munson

Sweet Emily
Emily kind of got roped into this shoot. It started as her sister’s College Senior Pictures. Then we decided, “Why not get a picture of Katie and Emily together?” That quickly morphed into “Why not split the shoot in ½ and get pictures of each sister and some of them together. The shoot was full of laughing, sunshine, and a little wine shared between sisters. Hair: Sara Munson

Katie & Emily
These two sisters are so so fun! They are complete opposites. Katie is outgoing and in the spotlight. She loves all things Hollywood and Broadway. Emily is Wallstreet, reserved and business minded. To say you could see their personalities come through in pictures is a horrible understatement. Thank you for the memorable evening, girls! Can't wait to post their individual images in the next few weeks. Hair: Sara Munson

Cute Helena
I LOVED having Helena as one of my Senior Spokesmodels this year. She is a seriously funny girl who is very well rounded. I admire her a lot and would be beyond thrilled if my girls turned out like her. CU Boulder is lucky to get this beautiful smarty pants.
Meet Chelsie (again)
Chelsie is absolutely darling. I have been taking pictures of her through her Varsity Cheer team for a few years now and it's been so fun. When she was a freshman she came to Addilyn's 5th birthday party with two other cheerleaders and taught the girls some cheers. I've loved getting to know her this year. She is so dang sweet... which she clearly gets from her mama. I'm so grateful I got to take her senior pictures AND that she was one of my Senior Spokesmodels this year.
Miss Peyton
Peyton. I adore her. I have been taking pictures of her with the cheer team for a few years but this year, being able to take her Senior pictures and have her be one of my Senior Spokesmodels allowed me to really get to know her and her sweet mama has been nothing short of wonderful! I honestly love those two girls and can't wait to see what Peyton will do with her life... because it will be show stopping for sure! (Bonus, she's heading to my home town for school!!)
Meet Senior Spokesmodel Haley
Haley is a riot. I have absolutely LOVED working with her this year and have been lucky enough to take her picture several times the last few years! I hope I get to work with her again sometime in the future. Have fun in Arizona, Haley!
Meet Kaylyn (again)
Senior Spokesmodels {Class of 2015}
Oh. My. Goodness. This shoot was UH-MAZING! I lost sleep for weeks with all the rain we were getting. I was so worried about getting my girls out there without them getting dumped on. Not gunna lie, it rained for the first 20 minutes. But then... then it STOPPED! YESSSSSSS! The weather was far from perfect but these girls had so much fun and made the best of it. Because of this shoot, I am going to start offering Best Friend Shoots. (Anyone have a catchier name for them?) Anyway, These girls are adorable. And beautiful. And sweet. And hilarious. Pretty much, I wish I was in high school again so I could hang out with all of them and steal their fab sense of style. Kaylyn, Peyton, Haley, Chelsie, and Helena were an absolute dream to work with... and I got to work with them all TWICE. Jack.pot.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Sabrina
Sabrina's shoot was a blast. We shot at a very random location that turned out just stunning! Then we headed to city streets to finish up with a more urban feel. She had super cute clothes, accessories, and made sure to have a variety. She even went bold with bright red lipstick with her last outfit. Thank you for being willing to do anything and everything on your shoot, Sabrina! And thank you for trusting Tara and me to choose an out of the box location!
Kaylyn
I knew from the moment I met Kaylyn that I was going to adore her. She brings out the "mommy" side of me with all her family has been through. It was really neat to hear her side of things as the sister of a brother who fought cancer. I have often wondered how my girls have dealt with things. They're a little too young and small to really express, of frankly, even fully know, how they felt being on that side of things. Kaylyn explained her side... She's a STRONG girl who is loved by many... including myself.
